Analytics Leader. Ultra Runner. Mountaineer.
I’ve been building data systems since 2016 and my philosophy is simple: don’t just store information — make it speak. I turn messy, unstructured data into clear narratives, using reporting for the “what” and machine learning for the patterns that aren’t surface level.
I build things to last. Whether I am architecting a data system or training for a race, I need a foundation that holds up under pressure. In both situations, it’s all the same discipline: focus, patience and solving complex problems in real-time.
You can check out my GitHub to see how I tackles these challenges, ranging from predicting my race time for my upcoming ultra in Silverton and detecting fraudulent PACs to simulating a Yahtzee game.
Outside of tackling data issues, you’ll find me on the trails of the Rocky Mountains, training for my next ultra or pushing my boundaries on a peak. Everything you see on the site was captured and edited by me. Head over to the “Off the Map” page to see where I’ve been.
